Echoes Of Our Yesterday

I walk the lonely avenue
Where we used to meet
The autumn leaves are falling down
Beneath my frozen feet
I close my eyes and see your smile
Through the misty rain
A faded dream of long ago
That hides away the pain
I hear you whispering
The wind across the silver sea
The memories of summer nights
Are calling back to me
We built our castle in the sand
We thought our love was true
Now standing in the neon light
I'm still remembering you
